Using this website

These Terms of Use apply when you access or use the Iris Next Gen website. They are written for a corporate information website and do not replace a project proposal, services agreement, partner agreement or other signed contract.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Acceptance

By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use and the policies linked from them. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

If you use the website on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

2. Website purpose

The website provides general information about Iris Next Gen, Iris Tech capabilities, solutions, services, industries and partnership opportunities. It is intended to support initial business discussions.

Website content is not a binding offer, quotation, service specification, service-level commitment or guarantee. A commercial commitment exists only where it is set out in a document agreed by authorised parties.

3. No professional, financial or regulatory advice

Website content is general information only. It is not legal, financial, accounting, investment, licensing, regulatory, cyber-security or other professional advice. You should obtain advice suited to your organisation, market and circumstances.

References to telecommunications, payments, mobile money, digital wallets, banking, AI or regulated workflows do not mean that Iris Next Gen is a telecommunications carrier, bank, financial institution, payment licensee or regulated adviser.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the website to:

  • break any law or infringe another person’s rights;
  • introduce malware, harmful code or automated attacks;
  • attempt to bypass security, probe systems or gain unauthorised access;
  • scrape, copy or harvest website content or contact details at scale without permission;
  • misrepresent your identity, authority or relationship with Iris Next Gen; or
  • interfere with the website’s availability, performance or normal operation.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our business or other users.

5. Accuracy and availability

We aim to keep website information clear and current, but information may be incomplete, become outdated or contain errors. Products, services, availability, locations, capabilities and commercial arrangements may change without notice.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may modify, suspend or withdraw any part of the website.

6. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, website content, design, text, graphics, illustrations, software and branding are owned by or licensed to Iris Next Gen or the relevant rights holder.

You may view and print a reasonable copy for internal evaluation or personal reference. You must not reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, sell, licence, frame or commercially exploit the content without written permission, except where the law permits.

Third-party names, marks and materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply endorsement unless expressly stated.

7. Third-party links

Links to maps, partner websites, regulators and other external services are provided for convenience. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, security, availability, terms or privacy practices.

8. Unsolicited information and confidentiality

Do not send confidential, commercially sensitive or proprietary material unless an appropriate confidentiality arrangement is already in place. Sending an unsolicited idea, document or opportunity through ordinary email does not automatically create a confidential, fiduciary, partnership or advisory relationship.

If an existing agreement applies, that agreement governs confidentiality and permitted use of information.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information connected with the website and direct communications may be handled. The Cookie Policy explains the current static website’s use of cookies and technical data.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iris Next Gen and its officers, employees, contractors and related entities are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general website content, inability to access the website, malicious third-party activity, or use of an external site.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.

11. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate Iris Next Gen for reasonable loss, cost or claim arising directly from your unlawful use of the website, infringement of another person’s rights, or material breach of these terms.

12. Changes

We may update the website and these terms. Changes take effect when the revised terms are published, unless a later date is stated. Continued use after publication means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Subject to any mandatory legal right to bring a matter elsewhere, the courts of Queensland and courts entitled to hear appeals from them have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
