Privacy in plain language

This policy explains how Iris Next Gen may handle personal information connected with this website and direct business communications. The website does not include a contact form. When you email or telephone us, you choose what information to provide through your own communication service.

Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles or another applicable privacy law applies to our activities, we aim to handle personal information consistently with those requirements. This policy does not claim that every privacy law applies to every Iris Next Gen activity.

1. Overview and who we are

This website is operated by Iris Next Gen Pty Ltd (Iris Next Gen, we, us or our). Iris Next Gen supports international business engagement for technology, telecommunications, payment and AI-enabled customer-service opportunities.

For privacy enquiries, contact [email protected].

2. Information we may receive

Depending on how you contact or work with us, we may receive:

  • your name, job title, organisation and country;
  • email addresses, telephone numbers and other business contact details;
  • the content of emails, attachments, meeting notes and enquiries;
  • information about a proposed project, partnership, market opportunity or existing engagement;
  • records needed to manage a business relationship, proposal, contract or support request; and
  • technical information described in section 7.

We do not ask you to send passwords, payment card details, government identifiers or other highly sensitive information through the website or ordinary email. Please avoid including such information unless a secure and agreed process has been established.

3. How we receive information

We may receive information directly from you when you email, call, attend a meeting, request information, discuss a project or take part in a partnership conversation. We may also receive business contact information from:

  • your employer or another authorised contact;
  • a referral, reseller, technology or delivery partner;
  • public professional sources, such as an organisation’s website or business directory; or
  • a service provider supporting our business communications or operations.

If you provide information about another person, you should have an appropriate basis for doing so and tell them how their information will be used where required.

4. How we may use personal information

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and arrange meetings;
  • understand, assess and progress projects or partnership opportunities;
  • prepare proposals, agreements, plans and delivery communications;
  • manage existing client, supplier and partner relationships;
  • provide support and coordinate the appropriate team;
  • protect our website, systems, staff and business from misuse or security threats;
  • meet legal, regulatory, insurance, accounting or record-keeping obligations; and
  • improve our communications and business operations.

We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

5. Sharing and service providers

We may share personal information only where reasonably needed for the purposes above, including with:

  • Iris Tech and related delivery or business teams involved in an enquiry or engagement;
  • professional advisers, insurers, auditors and accountants;
  • technology, hosting, email, document, communications and security providers;
  • delivery, integration or commercial partners where you have asked us to explore a joint opportunity; and
  • government, regulatory, law-enforcement or dispute-resolution bodies where required or authorised by law.

Service providers may process information under their own terms and privacy notices. We seek to limit disclosure to information reasonably required for the relevant service or purpose.

6. International access and disclosure

Iris Next Gen works across Australia, Vietnam and international markets. Information connected with a project or partnership may be accessed by authorised people in Australia or Vietnam and may be provided to service providers in other countries.

The privacy and data-protection rules in another country may differ from those in Australia. Where an applicable law requires particular steps before an overseas disclosure, we will take those steps or seek further information before proceeding.

7. Technical website data

The website files supplied by Iris Next Gen do not include analytics, advertising trackers or an enquiry form. The website itself does not intentionally store your message or form details.

The web host, content-delivery network, security provider or your browser may still process basic technical data needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include an IP address, browser type, device information, requested page, time of access and security events. See the Cookie Policy for more detail.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information and the nature of our activities. No email, internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

!
Protect confidential information.

Do not send passwords, private keys, payment card details or highly sensitive records through ordinary email. Ask us to agree a more secure transfer method where needed.

9. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was received, to manage an ongoing business relationship, to resolve a dispute, or to meet legal, contractual, insurance and record-keeping requirements.

When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete it, de-identify it or retain it in a restricted record where permitted or required by law.

10. Access, correction and privacy complaints

You may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, provide access to it, or correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

To make a request or complaint, email [email protected] and describe the information or issue involved. We will consider the request and respond in a reasonable manner, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

Where Australian privacy law applies and you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner ↗.

11. External websites

This website may link to maps, partner sites, regulators or other third-party services. Those services operate independently and may collect information under their own privacy policies. Review their terms before providing personal information.

12. Updates and contact

We may update this policy when our website, business practices or legal obligations change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date.
